Does Zfuro do production scheduling and capacity planning?
Yes. Capacity planning is the core of Zfuro. It auto-fits a chapter's pages to each worker's real daily capacity across every stage, gates each stage so downstream cannot start before upstream finishes, derives per-stage deadlines from your delivery date, and flags who is overloaded across all of your projects at once.
Is Zfuro just file storage or an asset database?
No. Asset management is one module. The heart of Zfuro is a capacity-planning and scheduling engine for the full localization pipeline. You can plan series, chapters, teams and dates, and load-test your people, before uploading a single file. Files, workflow and reporting layer on when you are ready.
Does Zfuro replace project tools like Monday, ClickUp or Trello for comics?
For comic and manga pipelines, yes. Generic boards track one card per chapter and cannot model per-worker daily capacity or page-level stage dependencies. Zfuro schedules page by page from each worker's real throughput and gates every stage, so the plan reflects how production actually runs, not a flat task list.
How does Zfuro prevent bottlenecks and idle time?
It sizes every task from the assigned worker's real pages per day, respects their weekends, holidays and leave, and gates stages so a letterer is never left idle while translation runs late. Tentative load is tracked separately from committed work, so overbooking surfaces as over 100 percent instead of hiding.
Can freelancers use Zfuro, and what does it cost?
Yes. Freelancers and all teammates are unlimited and free on every plan. You manage a freelancer pool across clients, offer planned work, and when a freelancer accepts, their tentative load is promoted to committed capacity so the reservation is real and visible on both sides.
Which languages and file formats does Zfuro support?
Zfuro is built for manga, webtoon and comic localization across many target languages, with CJK OCR, PSD and TIFF layer handling, full version history, glossary and relay-translation tools for cross-language consistency, and per-viewer watermarks so any leak traces back to a person.
Do I have to upload files to start?
No. You can plan and schedule an entire production, with realistic dates computed from each worker's capacity, without uploading anything. Many studios start with planning and add asset management and workflow later, once they are ready to bring client files onto the platform.
